Your AI already knows who you are.
Every chat starts from the right state.

An archive of files the AI reads before answering: who you are, offer and prices, clients and where you stand, dated decisions, recurring work. It works with Claude and ChatGPT, and it stays yours.

Five pieces. All text files.

The rules
A file the AI reads before every answer: one fact in one place, answers cite the file, no sensitive data.
↓
The index
Where everything is. A file no index names does not exist for the AI.
↓
The state
Only the present: priorities, open work, next steps. The old moves to the archive with a date.
↓
Clients and procedures
One folder per client with the agreements made; quote, onboarding, report and handover written once.
↓
The decisions
Date, who, what, why. "Did we agree that discount?" has an answer with a name.

Two ways.

Set it up with your AI agent, or I do it on your real archive.

What you are probably thinking.

"Do I need software?"

No. Text files in a folder, on your disk or drive. No subscription and no vendor to depend on.

"Does it work with ChatGPT?"

Yes. The rules live in AGENTS.md, which the main assistants read. In ChatGPT, files uploaded to a project must be re-uploaded when they change; with Claude Code or Cowork on the folder, the AI updates them itself.

"How is it different from ChatGPT's memory?"

The assistant's memory is personal and it decides what to remember. Here you decide what is written, it is the same for the whole team, it has dates, and every answer cites the file.

"How long does it take?"

About twenty minutes of interview and the documents you already have, then 15 minutes a week of upkeep. Without upkeep, a month later the AI repeats old things.

"What about sensitive data?"

It stays out: passwords, bank details, health data and clients' personal documents do not enter the archive. The rules for the AI say so explicitly.

Where it comes from.

It is the same method I work with: an archive holding 27 projects and 21 crafts, read by every chat before it answers. The personal version is free and public (Context OS); this one is for a company, with clients, procedures and decisions.
